Welcome to the Search for Social Justice Picture Book Project: an Australia-wide picture book writing and illustrating competition for young - high school and senior secondary school - authors and artists.
The mission of this competition is to:
Give a voice to young writers about social issues that impact them;
Showcase the literature and art of young Australians in a meaningful way; and
Create age-appropriate resources for young Australians, written by young people, for young people.

A school-based version of the Search for Social Justice Picture Book Project was undertaken after a student applied for, and won, an Audrey Fagan Young Women's Enrichment Grant.
Photographs of printed student works are being shown here for the purpose of demonstrating the potential of the project.
